The Qinzhou Social Welfare Institute

The Qinzhou Social Welfare Institute is where our daughter spent the first five months of her life. Qinzhou (Chin-Joe) is located in the southern part of the Guangxi province of China. The Qinzhou SWI tries to place as many girls as possible into foster care to be cared for by families until they are adopted. During our trip to Qinzhou in June of 2004 we inquired about visiting the inside of the orphange but were denied access because they consider themselves a very small, poor orphanage. Despite their humble status they give excellent care to the girls.

We feel a great responsibility to help the institution where our daughter got her first start in life. That is why we are donating 5% of each website sale to the Qinzhou SWI. We hope that somehow, this will help make a difference for other girls beginning the journey as Savannah did, in such a fragile state. We thank you in advance for helping us work toward this goal.
